Meeting a need, in WayneMarch 10, 2020
Kearny Bank’s Wayne branch location recently collaborated with the Wayne Interfaith Network Food Pantry on a one-month food drive in support of local residents. Donated items, most of which went to local seniors, were contributed by Kearny Bank clients in response to the bank’s call for support.
“It’s not something any of us enjoy thinking about, but there’s a need for food support right in Wayne,” says Kearny Bank Wayne branch AVP/Retail Relationship Manager Patricia Esposito Hulbert. “It was a pleasure working on this initiative with the Wayne Interfaith Network Food Pantry, and our bank clients were remarkably generous in their response. Overall, it was amazing.”
