Members of Brownie Troop 98851 recently took a guided tour of Kearny Bank’s Old Tappan branch and had the chance to walk behind the teller station, view the drive-through window from the inside, and even peek into the vault. Afterward, each girl received a goodie bag, while in turn presenting the Kearny Bank staff with a sample of their new raspberry cookies.
“I think I speak for our entire team in saying how much we enjoy visits from local kids,” says Brian Hekl, Retail Client Experience Manager at Kearny Bank’s Old Tappan branch. “Naturally, we view our professional responsibilities through adult eyes. But when young people get really excited about something that we tend to think of as routine … well, that’s quite motivating for all of us. And fun.”
