Kearny Bank Appoints New Chief Risk Officer

Michael Valente, a resident of Oradell, has been promoted to the position of 1st Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer by the Kearny Bank Board of Directors effective July 1, 2025.
Valente, who joined Kearny Bank in 2017 and is currently Senior Vice President / Risk Officer, will assume leadership of the Bank’s Enterprise Risk Management and oversight of the Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism and Sanctions Compliance, Security, and Compliance functions. He’ll assume the responsibilities currently held by John V. Dunne, who will be retiring from his position effective June 30, 2025.
