Kearny Bank promotes Union City resident to 2nd Vice President / Audit Manager

FAIRFIELD, NJ – Union City resident Eric Beepat has been promoted by Kearny Bank to the position of 2nd Vice President / Audit Manager. In this new role, his responsibilities include overseeing audits, evaluating risk and controls, ensuring compliance, recommending operational improvement, and managing staff.
Beepat, who joined Kearny Bank in 2022, has nearly two decades of professional experience in the audit and risk management sector. He holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Temple University and a master’s in business administration from Montclair State University.
“Eric is an accomplished professional within the audit community,” says Robert Kusant, Kearny Bank 1st Vice President / Chief Audit Officer. “His expertise, coupled with his skill as a communicator and collaborator, make him a natural for the role.”
A certified public accountant licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Beepat’s previous responsibilities include roles with MetLife and Prudential Financial, as well as with the National Football League and National Basketball Association. The holder of multiple certifications, he’s a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.
