Robin’s Nest
Owned and operated by Roberta (Robin) Palendrano and Antoinette Raucci, this beloved Main Street diner has become a true cornerstone of the Belmar community.
In 2023, Robin and Antoinette transformed a former Greek diner into one of the town’s favorite spots. But their mission goes far beyond serving great food—they’re dedicated to giving back in every way possible.
What Makes Robin’s Nest Special?
- Meals for anyone in need—no questions asked
- Free holiday meals open to the public
- Financial help for those struggling
- Job opportunities for anyone who needs work
- Weekly Bingo nights for assisted living residents
Despite facing their own challenges, including health battles, Robin and Antoinette continue to give back with incredible generosity—making Robin’s Nest so much more than a diner, but a place where everyone feels welcome.
Domingo’s Bakery
Domingo’s Bakery has been proudly serving the local community since 2011. Everything they offer is fresh and homemade, from breakfast and lunch specials for local students—including the town’s favorite empanadas—to a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and custom event cakes.
Domingo, his family, and their dedicated team are deeply rooted in the community. They regularly support local events and charities such as the annual Town Tree Lighting ceremony, the Rotary Club of Kearny, and the local food pantry.
Domingo’s journey is truly inspiring. He arrived in this country with nothing but the clothes on his back, worked tirelessly at a now closed local bakery, and eventually opened his own. Through hard work, determination, and a love for his craft, Domingo turned his dream into reality—and continues to share that passion with every customer.
