Sweepstakes Available at all Kearny Bank branches Monday, April 8 - Saturday, April 20
NO ACCOUNT OPENING OR PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR ACCOUNT OPENING DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
Eligibility: The 140th Anniversary Celebration (“Sweepstakes”) is open to legal U.S. residents of the states of New Jersey and New York who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors or agents of Kearny Bank, its affiliated companies, marketing partners and their respective immediate families (spouse, parents, children, and siblings) and individuals living in the households of such individuals are not eligible to participate. All entries submitted are the property of Kearny Bank (“Sponsor”). No account opening or purchase is required to participate. Limit one entry per person.
How to Participate: The Sweepstakes period begins at 9:00AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on Monday, April 8, 2024 and ends at 12:00PM ET on Saturday, April 20, 2024 (“Sweepstakes Period”). During the Sweepstakes Period, you may submit an entry in one of two ways: (1) at a branch office; or (2) by mail. All entries must be received by 12:00 PM ET on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Sponsor is responsible for the official clock for the Sweepstakes and will solely determine the time by which an entry is received.
You may enter the Sweepstakes by submitting an entry in-person at any of our New Jersey or New York branch offices. To enter the Sweepstakes by mail, you may hand print your full name, address, zip code, telephone number, and email address on a plain piece of 3” x 5” paper and mail your entry with first class postage affixed to: Kearny Bank, 120 Passaic Avenue, Fairfield, NJ 07004, Att: Marketing – 140th Anniversary Celebration. Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, damaged, illegible, misdirected or postage due mail.
By entering this Sweepstakes, each participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of the Sponsor, whose decisions regarding all aspects of the Sweepstakes shall be final. Only the entries received during the Sweepstakes Period and that are completed correctly in accordance with these Official Rules will be eligible for the Sweepstakes (each, an “Eligible Entry”). Proof of submission is not proof of receipt of an entry by Sponsor. Each person may submit one Eligible Entry only. If Sponsor determines that more than one Eligible Entry was submitted by a person, it reserves the right to disqualify all Eligible Entries made by such person.
Prizes; Odds of Winning: One (1) of two (2) prizes ("Prizes”) will be awarded to two (2) separate winners (each, a “Winner”). The first prize Winner will receive four (4) lounge concert tickets to attend the Jennifer Lopez Concert at the Prudential Center, in Newark New Jersey along with one (1) parking pass on August 10, 2024. Winners must provide their own transportation to and from the venue. The second prize Winner will receive four (4) lounge tickets to attend Cirque de Soleil: Ovo at the Prudential Center in Newark New Jersey and one (1) parking pass on June 21, 2024. Winners must provide their own transportation to and from the venue. In addition, each Winner and their guests agrees to abide by all health and safety rules in effect at the Prudential Center on the day of the event, as applicable.
The estimated retail value (“ERV”) of each of the prizes is as follows: (i) First prize is $2,000.00; and (ii) Second prize is $1,050.00. The actual retail value (“ARV”) of each prize on the date it is awarded may vary. Any difference between the ERV and the ARV of the Prizes will not be awarded.
The odds of winning vary based on total number of Eligible Entries received. Sponsor’s decision is based on its sole discretion and interpretation of these Official Rules, and is final and binding in all respects. Each Winner will be awarded one of the two (2) possible Prizes listed above.
Winners; Notification: Potential winners need not be present to win. Two (2) potential winners will be selected in a random drawing containing all Eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. There will be a drawing on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 12:00PM ET. If you are a chosen as potential winner, you will be notified via the email address provided in your Eligible Entry. In the event that a potential winner cannot be contacted or if there is no response from the winners within three (3) business days after notification, Sponsor reserves the right to draw an alternate potential winner from the remaining Eligible Entries. Each potential Winner is required to complete, sign and return: (i) an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release, (ii) a Publicity Release, and (iii) an IRS Form W-9, within ten (10) business days of notification or attempted notification of being a potential Winner or the prize may be forfeited. Sponsor shall have no liability for any notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by any potential winner for any reason. If any potential winner is found to be ineligible, has not complied with these Official Rules, or declines a prize for any reason prior to its award, such potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be selected from the remaining Eligible Entries.
General; Publicity: The Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in the Sweepstakes or for any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, accessing or downloading information in connection with the Sweepstakes. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw, terminate or modify the Sweepstakes at any time without prior notice. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Prizes are not transferable. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prizes or any one or more components of the Prizes with a prize or component of equal or greater value. Each Winner is solely responsible for any and all Federal, state and local taxes and fees assessed as a result of the Prize.
By claiming their Prizes, the Winners authorize the use, without additional compensation, of their name and/or likeness and/or voice/photograph and/or municipality of residence for promotion and/or advertising purposes, worldwide, in any manner and in any medium, in all forms of media which the Sponsor may deem appropriate, whether now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, except where prohibited by law.
Release; Indemnity; Limitations of Liability. By participating in the Sweepstakes, all entrants and Winners, as a condition of entry into the Sweepstakes, agree to release Sponsor, the New Jersey Devils LLC, and NHL Entities and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates from and against any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with participating in any aspect of the Sweepstakes, the receipt, ownership or use of the prizes awarded, or any typographical or other error in these Official Rules. Void where prohibited by law. By accepting a prize, winner agrees to release, indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Indemnified Parties from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses of any kind to person or property (including but not limited to attorneys’ fees) arising out of or resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Sweepstakes, acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or any typographical or other error in the Official Rules or the or announcement of any prize. Under no circumstances and under no legal theory will any entrant or winner be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrants and winners hereby waive all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages or attorneys’ fees and expenses (even if Sponsor has been made aware of the potential for such damages) related to these Official Rules, the prizes and the Sweepstakes. Sponsor makes no warranties, and hereby disclaims any and all warranties, express or implied, concerning any prize furnished in connection with the Sweepstakes. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, SUCH PRIZES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND SPONSORS HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND/OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Choice of Law: This Sweepstakes is offered only in the United States and is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey without regard to conflicts of laws principles.

Kearny Bank is not affiliated with The New Jersey Devils or the providers or manufacturers of any other prize item. All trademarks and product names appearing in collateral are the property of their respective owner(s) and used upon permission of such respective owner(s).
Miscellaneous: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, such provision shall be severed and the remaining Official Rules shall otherwise remain in full force and effect. Sponsor may modify, amend or waive any provision of these official rules at any time and without prior notice. Nothing in these rules requires Sponsor to hold the Sweepstakes, it being understood Sponsor has the sole and exclusive right to suspend or cancel the Sweepstakes for any reason at any time.
