Hands-On QuickBooks® Learning Lab Series
Kearny Bank ChangeMakers is collaborating with New Jersey Small Business Development Centers (NJSBDC) to bring you this FREE four-week course on implementing and utilizing QuickBooks® Online for your business. This comprehensive lab will help you walk through the set-up process and explain the many features available on QuickBooks® Online platform. We will review several bookkeeping functionalities as well as the creation of financial reports - at no cost to you!

- Access to all your business bank and credit cards accounts

Schedule
6/1/23: Getting Started: We will review your current set-up and ensure you have the proper chart of accounts for your industry. We will also establish bank connections needed for data import. We will learn how to create vendor bills and customer invoices.
6/8/23: Data Review: We will continue to review importing the QuickBooks® data, and properly categorize all business activity. We will explore the creating "rules" feature, as well as the importance of properly classifying income and expenses.
6/15/23: Let's Reconcile: We will go over the monthly reconciliation process and how to troubleshoot any outstanding issues. Copies of bank statements are required.
6/22/23: Financial Reporting: We will utilize the skills learned thus far to generate basic financial statements. This class is most beneficial to those who have attended all of the previous classes.
