West Orange resident appointed AVP / Retail Relationship Manager of local Kearny Bank branch

You can’t say West Orange resident Shawn Morton has a long commute. After all, his new role as a Kearny Bank Assistant Vice President / Retail Relationship Manager is based at the branch located in the same town where he lives.
Morton’s primary responsibilities include oversight of sales, development, and branch operations. In addition, he provides financial products to clients across both personal banking and business banking segments and establishes new client relationships.
With more than 25 years of professional experience in community banking, Morton most recently was Retail Client Experience Manager at Kearny Bank’s West Orange location. Prior to that, he held the same title at the Kearny Bank branch in Basking Ridge. His career has also included a role as Assistant Vice President of Member Services for Municipal Credit Union.

In 2017, Morton earned an Executive Master of Science degree in Finance from Baruch College. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Business Administration, from St. John’s University.
